The aim of Nutritional Therapy is to seek balance and harmony within the body which will then allow it to restore itself to health and vitality.I want this website to be a source of information for you and my aim is to empower you with knowledge on how Nutrition might help you to achieve better health. I would like to share with you some of the things I have learnt on my journey so far that have helped me to improve my own health and maybe I can help some of you achieve this too.

In some ways we have come a long way over the last century when it comes to modern technology and better standards of living but we have made our environments so much more toxic and our lifestyles are far more stressful. Our trend towards modern convenience foods gives us far less nutritional value in our diets than ever before. Added to this there is the question of intensive farming which has depleted our soil of precious minerals.

We also absorb toxins through our skin and many of today’s beauty products contain products that are not natural. All of this creates an added burden to the toxic load that our body’s have to deal with and sometimes years of overworking our body’s defences can lead to problems which manifest themselves as symptoms of ill health.

As a Nutritional Therapist I am trained in clinical practise and aim to improve a person's health status by adopting a holistic approach to my clients. I try to look at the person as a whole, looking beyond the presenting symptoms for a root cause to any health issues, I then assess which body systems might need supporting.

As we are all unique and have different requirements I look at the nutrient status and individual requirements of each client and make appropriate dietary and supplement recommendations which I feel are needed to support the body back to health. I do feel that it is best to get the nutrients you need from your diet so I try to keep supplements to a minimum where possible. I will work with you to find what will work best for you in your particular cicumstances so that you are then able to take control of your own health.
